Mars rover

Hello readers. Today in science we have been researching about the rover. We did this so we know more about what the rover is doing and why we are sending it to the big red plant (Mars). Here is some paragraphs about the rover.

Would you like to know more about the Perseverance rover? A rover is a vehicle that can drive by itself for a long period of time before it runs out of life time then it rest will the solar panels collect the sunlight powering it up so it could drive around on Mars collecting rocks and data about the plant exploring if we could one day live on Mars.

The lunch of the perseverance rover lunch in 2020 30 of July. They are launching the perseverance rover because they are trying to get samples of what Mars is made of. If we could or can’t live on Mars so when earth burns up we could move to Mars years to come.

Perseverance is a name of a rover, how it got named is they put out a competition for naming the rover. A seventh grader from Lake Braddock Secondary school in Burke Virginia won the competition. Alex Mather is the name of the seventh grader that chose the name.

The Mars rover is landing on Mars 18 February 2021. It is going to take a couple of months to get there when the rover gets there. It's going to inflate so the rover bounces so it does not get damaged so the rover can get samples of the red planet we know as Mars.
