Ice cap melting.

Ice cap melting.

Definition: when the ice start to melt and the
ocean start to rise

If all the ice melted what would happen: the sea level will rise and most of the earth land would be under water and the salt water fish will die because it will be in the fresh water so most of the fish like the whale shark dolphin coral will die.
The Antarctica will lose all it ice and it will barely hold together.
The animals on Antarctica will not survive.

DEFORESTATION

DEFORESTATION

Definition: When someone/people cut down the trees
to make room for other use.

what are tree are use for: paper, fire wood, furniture,
pencils, houses, fences and Gates.

how does deforestation affect the climate: water cycle, global warming, habitat for animals and cooling down the Earth.

Acidification

Acidification
people that don't know what acdification it is to munch
 carbon dioxide in the water.
Today in climate chaos we had to answer these questions

  • What is happening to our oceans
  • What dose this do to our selfish

carbon dioxide it effects our water and when it effects our water.
It effects it by making it more and more acidic.
which is effect the critters in the ocean like the shellfish.

answering and asking questions

Today we are learning to answer and ask questions here is what I think answering asking questions
Good readers ask questions before, during and after
they have read a text.
Sometimes the question is answered in the text.
Sometimes you have to use your own prior knowledge
and what’s in the text to help you come up with the
answer.
Sometimes the question may not be answered by the
text at all and you will have to find another source of
information to help you.
Asking and answering questions helps you look for
information, which builds understanding

science rules

Aim: To learn how to behave in a science laboratory.

  1. Pay attention.
  2.  Act responsibly around dangerous objects
  3. Do not run.
  4. Put your bag under the desk.
  5. NO food of water in the laboratory.
  6. Do not sniff or taste substances.
here is some equipment

    • Test tube - used  for most experiments using liquids. They have a bung that goes in the top.
    • Conical Flask - used for experiments with liquid up to 150 ml. The flask has a rubber bung for the top and the glass is heat proof.
    • Glass Stirring rod - A 20cm glass rod used to stir and mix any liquids together.
    • Test tube tongs - These are used to hold a hot test tube after an experiment.
    • Spatula - For holding very small amounts of chemical powders.
    • Funnel
    • Measuring Cylinder - this is used to measure liquids for experiments. The liquids will be poured into a beaker or test tube once measured out.

2040 documentary

intro-2040 documentary by damon ganeau
what the two thing that I learn about this lesion that the ice capsulise are melting and that solar energy can help that.
fossil fuels are really bad for the country and it is why the ice capsulise are melting and that ocean is getting bigger by the week
it found it hard to concentrate
and the  ocean it is making the selfish hard to make it shell.

Water cycle experiment

Title: Water cycle experiment.

Purpose: learn how the water cycle works and how plushin conteranates the water.

Materials
  • 1x zip lock plastic Bag’s (A4).
  • Vivid pen.
  • 100 ml of soda water.
  • Blue food coloring.
  • Limiste paper.
  • Baking soda.
  • Double sided type 20 cm.

Procedure
1. Draw a picture of the water cycle on the bag.
2. Open the bag and poor 50 ml of soda water in the bag.
3. Put two drops of blue food coloring in the bag.
4. Put one teaspoon of baking soda in the soda water
5. Put the limiste paper betwen the zip on the bag.
6. Use 20 cm double sided tape to stick it on the window.
Findings:

The Water Cycle
Acid Water Cycle
Does it cycle?
22
Amount of Water
22
Acidity
02

Key: Water and acidity amount: 0 = none
1 = small
2 = large
Coments:
  1. The water cycle did cycle, we had high amounts of water and it did not a lot of acid
  2. The water cycle did cycle, we had high amounts of water and it did have a lot of acid
