Te tiriti o waitangi

Hi today in who are we. We have being the Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
here is the summary of my work
in the 1830's there was hundred thousand Maori in new Zealand then most of them died by war and sickness so there was only 70 to 80 thousand left the main settlement in Aotearoa new Zealand his name was Russel Kororarera. The missionaries were unhappy with the town because of the prostitution and unfair trades the the Treaty was damaged by the rats, water, rotting and burned. the British was scared of the France because there were taking there land. The Zealand company was set up by Edward Gibson


The British send Hobson to new Zealand to set up the treaty of Waitangi to stop war. there was 40 of the rangatira from around the country signed the Treaty. The problem with the treaty is that it was not translate probably the meaning of tino rangatiratanga having your own authority and sovereighty mean crown control and Kawanatanga means Misused after the treaty was signed the British can take the land Hone Heke cut the flag pole down because he was angry with the treaty in the northern war the Maori use methods like log walls pits and flax walls.   hope you like my summary of the work I did if you have any questions about Te Tiriti o Waitangi leave a comment

  1. Ka pai Angus. This is a great summary of events around Te Tiriti o Waitangi. You are awesome at comprehending text and rephrasing it. Your blog post could be improved if you used sentences correctly, for example, write the definition of one word, then put a full stop to finish that sentence. Keep working hard Angus.
