100 word challenge

Hello Reader. Today in Wananga we have been doing the 100 word challenge. how this works is the teacher gives you a picture and you write 100 word about it.

There was three snowman siting in the park there names were Frosty, Flack and Chilly It was snowing it was a brilliant day in the snow the trees had ice on it. They packed all of the supplies they needed but they forgot one thing the lemonade, they went back home to get the lemonade when they saw the lemonade stand they thought it would be nice to buy some fresh lemonade so they went to the lemonade stand the lemonade was was nice they went back to the park and had a good time and went back home  

Getting enough sleep.

Hello readers.Today in health we are learning about getting enough sleep. For this activity we are answering question that the teacher giving us. I will be getting the answers from the site the the teacher has giving us to read. 

How much sleep does a teenager need to get? teenager need to get around about 8 to 10 hours the reason why is that if teenagers don't get there sleep, it could effect there learning, behavior, heath and well being

What time do you wake up to get to school? 7:00 What time do you go to sleep on average? 8:30 Calculate the times, 10 and a half. Does this give you enough sleep? Yes it does

Quality of Sleep: List four ways you can help your body get a quality night’s sleep (Most of this happens before bedtime!) Having a shower before bed time, Reading a book. A quite place. some were dark and warm.

In your own words, why do you think it is important to get a good sleep each night? How do you think this will help you at school? Sleeping important so you have a good attitude for school and you complete all your work.

Healthy meal plan

Hello readers today in health we have been doing healthy meal plan.

We have been doing this because so we know how to be healthy through out the day 

what I found challenging about this activity was  picking foods that is healthy. 

here is my healthy plan

Vegetables + Fruit - at least 3 servings of vege and 2 servings of fruit every day 

Grain foods - 6 servings each day (check portion sizes)

Milk/Milk products - 2 servings

Legumes/Nuts/Seeds/Fish/Seafood/Eggs/Poultry/Meat etc. - 2 servings 

When you have created your meal plan, please highlight each food based on the colours provided above. This will help us clearly see where each of the food groups has fit in. Remember, you want each meal to be a balanced plate.

Bonus research: how many glasses of water should we have each day? Fit this into your meal plan. 

Breakfast	2 Weetbix with blueberries and raspberries   and milk
Lunch	Toast with avocado cheese and half a cup of  baked bean
Snack	An egg with banana
Dinner	Half a cup of Corn ,2 potatoes for the mash potato.1 piece of grilled Fish pasta with a glass of water with lemon or lime.
Water	How many servings per day? 5-6 cups How do you think you could fit these in besides just at meal times?   After meals    Doing sports  Be for bed time

Hello readers today in science we have been doing three different ways to communicate 

Morse code, flags and binary code. me and my buddy chose binary code. How it work is using flag and writing one and zero on it. we sent a message using one and zeros the message was OWL.
