Writing Assesment Review.

Hello readers today we have to do more bolgging and I am good at orgasnisation and my next steps. 

Sentence: Make sure I choose the right sentence to show the reader what I want them to know or how I want them to feel.

Structures: Try to match all parts of of my writing to the text type.

Idears: Make my ideas original, so the reader can connect with them.

Add extra information, detail or facts that explain my thinking (elaboration)

vocab: Use words and phrases that grab the reader’s attention and interest.

Punctuation: Use commas to show clauses (different parts of a sentence).

Add punctuation to create mood and show greater detail to hook my readers in.

battle bots

 Hello readers today in DTE we have been building battle bots. We have been doing this over 8 weeks and I have fineshed our battle bots. What I learnd is how to build a robot and how to controll it. The people that was in my group Sereybuth Jesse and wraith my next steps is to mabye let the group help me with the robot more.  Sereybuth made the DLO Jesse made the logo for the battle bot. sat on his butt all period. I made the robot Jesse drove the robot and wraith.

The kid in the lodge

Hello reader today I wrote this becuase we had to in class here it is hope you like it.

A dark blue sky the trees are black as the night with little patchs of snow like little pills of suger. Not much of the sky all you can see is black trees standing still as if they were waiting for someone to come. The snow on the ground with stones laying there as if they were going to sleep,  little bushes coming up as if they woke up from a deep nap. As one little kid waits in his lodge for Christmas to come the next day.

The little kid is very short and he has white hair and pale skin. He is wearing a stirped red and green jersey and he has blue eyes with a couple of freakles onj his face and he has sock the match with his jersey. He is waiting at the window looking for someone to fly past. He has a dreamy look on his face as if he saw Santa right in front of him as there’s a fire right behind him keeping him warm. 

His lodge got got crashed by one of the black trees falling the boy was stuck waiting for help waiting an hour has went past as he waited for someone to help him there was no one around then we all hope was lost he saw something it was a rabbit and then the rabbit ran away in fear.

He slowly froze to death becuase no one came for him,  it was painfull and he did not know what to do he got cut up really bad and that help  with the death as he was alone with branch in his back all he could see was santa pulling the finger and said don’t believe everything people tell you and the kid died.

  

science

 Hello readers, today in science we have been learning about filtering dirty water to clean water we will be doing a experiment about filtering water. filtering is separating small particles from the water to make it drinkable not all things can be dissolved when it is the same size it can't be dissolved. todays experiment we are going to make a mixture then separate them. the chemicals are called copper sulfate is light blue a liquids and transparent and sodium carbonate is colorless a liquid and translucent. What I think is going to happen is when you try and separate them they are not going to.

Method: 

1. Pour approximately 50mL of copper sulfate solution into a beaker.

2. Add the same volume of sodium carbonate solution. A reaction will happen, you should see a cloudy blue precipitate form. Called copper carbonate. 

3. Watch demo then fold filter paper to fit inside the funnel

4. Place the funnel with the filter paper inside of it, into the mouth of a conical flask. 

5. Stir the mixture in the beaker, then carefully pour it into the funnel. 

6. Observe what happened.

      

Matariki

Hello readers today in English we have been doing a do now and the do now is about should Matariki should be a holiday.

Matariki should be an holiday the reason why is because when it is a New Year we celebrate it and since we are making Maori part of New Zealand we should celebrate the New Year with them and have a day of school. That is why we should celebrate matariki and have a day of school.   

Energy Transformations

When energy is passed from one type to another changes. These are the 8 types of energy.

Kinetic.  allows movement 

Heat.  Tempture 

Light. waves you can't see.

Gravitational. force pushing down 

Elastic. something that you can stretch  

Electrical. power  

Sound. energy you can hear 

chemical potential. food and fuel.

We had a marshmallow cannon how we made it was with a balloon and a cup we cut the cup then we cut the balloons neck off and put it around the cup and made a cannon we put the marshmallow in the cannon and shot it outside first it was elastic then it turn into sound and kinetic energy then it turn into gravitational and it hit the ground.   

Debating

Hello readers what we have been doing over the past 2 weeks is debating we have been fighting on about couple of thing I can't rember most of the things but there was someone that knew about debating and it was lucky to see someone that knew a lot about debating and learn from her.  What I think that has been fun is agureing about diffrent things and working with other poeple and what I though was challenging was doing all the work be my self. I don't know if I want to join the school team next year.

 Hello readers today in wananga I will be doing a recount about what we have been doing in B.E The poeple in my group are Travis, Jed, Aaron, Denis and Lucas. The business Advisor is Mr. Taylor and also our sponsor. Our product is clash of cards and also our company name. How we got this is be looking up different types of collectable cards and we got an idea so we went with it. we will be selling our product hopefully on our site or at school on market day which is on the 1 Dec. We are having a market day to teach the students about how to make a business and to also get money for EOTC week. I have been enjoying what I have been doing and my favorite part was making the cards what has been challenging to me was to find out what I was doing and how I could help the group because I was not here for a week and I got put into a group. I am look forward to selling my cards and make a profit.

Voltage, Resistance and Current

Hello reader today in physics we are doing current circuits. current (I) how quickly the electrons more flow voltage (V) how much energy the electrons are carrying resistance (R) used to slow resist plow of electrons (current) series 1 path, all components in a single loop. parallel many paths 

The rule for voltage is in series the voltage is split between components in. 

Parallel the voltage is the same everywhere

 Hello readers today in science we are going to be doing current circuits they are when they travel through the circuits.       

the one on the left is a parallel circuit it get more power because there are two different paths. the one on the right is a series it does not have as much power because they are connect 

 this one is a normal circuit. 

knock the cone

 Hello reader today  I made up with my friends Kayden. The game is called knock the cone here are the instructions on how to play it. Four people are trying to knock the cone down.  Two people in each team and trying to knock the opposite team's cone. If they get hit, they go off. If all of them get hit the team that hit them all gets a free shot, if they miss the cone the other team goes back on. Both teams have five minutes to try and knock the cone down. If a team has a player off and they  catch the ball they get to bring back the other player.

Book review

 Hello readers today in hur1 we have been reading a book called The Cay. The protagonist it Timothy and Philip. The first book published in 1996 in the united states. Then it got published by puffin in 1973. The author for this book is Theodore Taylor. my opinion about this book is I liked it, I liked how they made a book about two poeple in the 1942 and stuck and relay on each other. I recommend this book to older poeple. I rate it a 4/5, they was in the world war 2 and the Nazis was attacking there home and trying to tack there oil.    

Week reflection.

Hello readers today in wananga we have been doing a week reflection, My week have been very good and I have shown my CARR values in most of my class I showed achievement by completing the science experiment, commitment by going in a finished my work, respect by helping other when they needed it and resilience by doing the work when I did not want to. In my art Kete I have been working on a roman base and we have nearly finished it, I have been making the towers and the fences that go around the base. I think that I did very good when there was a reliver teacher this week I completed all my task that I was meant to do and a got some CARR stamps to. A goal that I want to do before the end of this term is to build a good robot in DTE that is one of my class that I have. Thank you for reading this blog post blog you later!!

When a electrically neutral object it means it wants to be balled. conductor mean that it pass on electricity and insulator does not pass electricity. when you rub your shocks a cross the carpet.  

Dissecting a cow eye

Hello bloggers today in physic I will tell you guys what I did. In biology class our teacher has been teaching us about the eye and the part of the eye. There are 7 main parts of the eye. The cornea is the protective outer layer of the eye. The pupil is where the light enters the eye. The iris control how much light enter the eye. The lens focuses light on to the retina. The retina converts light to electrical impulses. The optic nerve carries the electric impulses to the brain. The humorous is the liquid mush in the middle which gives the eye its shape. After we have learned about the eye. We choses our groups and the teacher gives us a cows eye. It was really stinky and gross. We start off by cutting of the fat around the eye and then we cut a hole into the cornea.

Ice and snow

 Hello readers today I am writing a 200 word challenge about the snow because it is snowing outside.

Snow is a wonderful thing it brings joy to most of the world some countries it snow all the time but in New Zealand it hardly never snows as I wait in class rendering my book it start to snow. I looked outside the window to see half the school running on the field. The class wait for miss to say you guys can go outside to play if you want. I went outside to see the snow it was cold and wet. I saw two of my friends and I ask them what do they think of the snow. They were coved in snow  and playing in it so I thought that they was having a good time. The teacher told us it was time to go back inside so I did we sat down and we started to read our book again. The whole class was distracted so the teacher told us to go on our Chromebook and write 200 word about the snow. Here is a poem I found about the snow.

The way the crow shook down on me to dust of the snow on a hemlock tree has given my heart a change mood and some part of a day I had rued.       

Schooner

 Hello readers today in reading we have been learning about The Cay and The Cay is about poeple stranded in a island and one of the boat in The Cay is called a schooner. The boat is brown and very long it has four white sails not all of then a the same and white ring around the top. If I was sailing on this boat I would fell the boat rocking agents the ocean and I would smell the sea air and see dolphins and whales and maybe fish as we pull them in.
